Kommetjie, Jeffreys Bay & Durban
The second edition of Surfing South Africa?s Women?s took place at Long Beach, Kommetjie, Kitchen Windows in Jeffreys Bay and Dairy Beach in Durban and more than 60 girls of all ages turned out to participate in the three exclusive events for women surfers.
At Long Beach in Kommetjie tough 6 foot surf and difficult conditions did not deter the contestants in any of the divisions. In the Open final Roxy Davis (Fish Hoek) took third place.
The full results for all three events are available on www.surfingsouthafrica.co.za. The Women?s Pro events are supported by Sport & Recreation SA. Surfing South Africa is the governing body for the sport and is a member of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) and the International Surfing Association (ISA).
